I tried Greek food for the first time at this restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were vibrant and unique, making it such a memorable experience. What made the meal even more enjoyable was the exceptional service. the server was incredibly kind and attentive, despite how busy the restaurant was. I was especially impressed by how she managed multiple tables with a genuine smile the entire time. The food was a little salty for my taste, but that’s likely because I usually prefer milder flavors. Still, everything was prepared beautifully, and I would definitely visit again—if not just for the food, then for the amazing service!

The food, atmosphere, and service was amazing.. my only criticism would be that the portions could be a bit bigger for the price, but i would definitely come back in the future. The lamb was amazing, and they have the best hummus I've ever had. If you like greek food you must try. Highly recommended.

Long time Greek standby for good reason. We enjoyed everything we had here. If you’re a group I can’t recommend the Taverna Special enough. You get all the big hits from the menu and the food just kept coming. We had plenty of leftovers which was a nice bonus. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is a cozy atmosphere with colors that reminded us of our trip to Santorini.

Amazing experience! They served us right when they were about to close and I am so thankful to them for that. Really family and locally owned restaurant that are extremely hard to find these days in Calgary! For sure support and come visit this place!

Four of us had the best dinner here last night. I had never liked lamb until this chefs! Seriously delicious. We had a variety of amazing dishes * Saganaki, Sizzling Pan Fried Cheese & Pita Bread, Stuffed Vine Leaves topped with Lemon Sauce, Feta Cheese & Olives, Prawns & Scallops Combo, Moussaka (The National Dish of Greece), and Greek salad. What an amazing experience! Our first time there and we had the Taverna Special. The atmosphere and the food/wine was great! The staff were probably the nicest group of people I've ever met and very helpful, also very accommodating for substitutions. The chef even came out at the end of the night, introduced himself and shook our hands. Can't wait to go back.

Outstanding food and service. We were celebrating a special occasion and the entire restaurant staff made our night. The food was delicious, I enjoyed every mouth full of the roast lamb and the recommended wine with dinner was on point. The calamari and pita bread with eggplant dip were also great starters. My entire family enjoyed themselves. They had swordfish and chicken souvlaki. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Greek food. We will be back for sure.

The wife and I went for a date night without the kids. The food was some of the best greek food I have had in Calgary. The prices were reasonable for the food you get (good cuisine isn't cheap) . It was quite busy, so I recommended making a reservation. It is a family owned restaurant that has been around for almost 40years. The service was quick and the people treated us like family. I will definitely be going back.
